Get Your Life Back- An Easy Healthy Life is a Choice

Choose to slow down, balance your life, and eat well
  • Busy schedule.  Ask yourself  some question -  What is so important about what I want to do now? If it is important, do I have to personally do it or someone else is better placed to do it? If it is my job, am I doing it the right way? How well am I prepared to do it within the shortest time with a minimum of resources?
  • Rest and exercise. Everyone needs rest to let your body recuperate and re-energize. Your body needs at least one day every seven days to heal and build up. On a daily basis, you also need some sleep otherwise your productivity begins to suffer. If your job is a desk job, you need exercises to keep healthy. No matter how strong you feel, exercises and rest are important to maintain the momentum otherwise your systems will start deteriorating and failing. Such an outcome would require far more time and resources to restore. Choose maintenance rather than wait and try an overhaul later. Finding time to rest and exercise is better easier than finding time for sick offs!
  • Diet. As a general rule, fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean white meat will provide your body with rich nutrition and fewer calories compared to either fast foods or manufactured foods. The later stuff may be full of carbohydrates, bad fats, refined sugars and salts not to mention additives and colorings that may be no good. If you want to eat processed food, be sure to read the labels carefully. Good food will keep you strong and full of energy

What about food and supplements?

  1. I used to wonder whether supplements are necessary for an easy healthy life. In an ideal world, we should get all our nutrition from natural foods. However, in many cases, our world is far from ideal! Intensive farming methods have taken a toll on soil fertility leading to higher yields of less nutritious food. Add to this the profit motive behind business systems and you could wind-up with empty calories and little nutrition on your dinner table.
  2. You could therefore add some natural supplements for vitamins, fibers or trace minerals. The best  supplements are developed from natural sources. They are used to compensate for the missing nutrients, boost your energy and help you reduce weight for an easy healthy life. However this is an industry full of many products most of which make outlandish promises that are difficult to deliver and may actually harm you. You need to consult your doctor and only buy products

Does God Care? Christian Perspective

Most religions have some sort of rules concerning lifestyles including  what foods one should eat. Within Judaism, there are rules governing foods and observant devote jews will not eat certain things such as pork.

Among Christians, the matter of ones faith in God tends to take precedence and over any codes of conduct governing lifestyle habits such as food. St Paul  addressed issues concerning meat in the early church but  this had more to do with the  meat offerred to idols.

Generally speaking however, a Christian believer would understnad that their body is the temple of God and there should therefore take good care of the body so as to glorify God  (reference 1Cor 6 10-20)
